Feast of Art

4 Jan

the brush of a painter preserves the image
the voice of a singer woos the emotions
the chords of a musician sways the body
the words of a poet arouses the soul
when goodly mingled, it is a feast of art

Thanks you all for stopping by to visit.I am going to explore my fellow talented souls’ works, and i sure believe we all have our various talents. I am grateful for the encouragements and feed backs… as the fire of inspiration keeps burning i plan to keep writing. For this poem, i actually wrote the poem first then went searching for an image that i thought would match well( which is what i usually do with the poems i write); i found the one i have up, and it has become one of my favorite paintings, and i can tell some readers really like it too. Be Well.

Very beautiful picture and I love how what you wrote changes how we look at the picture and then we see how all the different things change the picture into a work of art.

Thank you so much for sharing this with us for this weeks Change Theme Thursday. I hope you will be back for many visits with us on each Thursday.

Happy New Year wishes for you and yours.

    God bless.

So many different kinds of art: painters, poets, singers, musicians — all add color to our lives. Thanks for sharing with Poetry Jam.
